The JSmon is a new monitoring program, part of the startup and control framework,
If you have AS java older than 7.1 you will have only JCMON onyour system, for AS java 7.1 and higher JSMON we will use.
1. To start the JSmon, log on to the system using <SID>adm and execute the monitor.
su - <sid>adm
<sid>adm> jsmon pf=/usr/sap/<SID>/sys/profile/<SAPSID><INSTANCE_ID><HOST>.
Note:- A. AS Java should be up and running to run jsmon.
B. Use this program only if really necessary. SAP recommends using the Management Console.
2. There are 5 choices in the main menu as shown above. The command in JSmon can be executed as given below.
Enter [prefix [arg]] <section> [command [options]]
e.g.
Thu Apr 12 09:38:57 2012> jsmon view
3. Using help command, you can find all the commands which can be executed for monitoring of AS Java.
